This document describes the design of a corn extractor machine. It includes an organizational chart, mission statement, concept selection, product details on parts and functions, materials used, the final design, operational procedure, constraints of using average sized corn cobs, and problems encountered with the tall size of the machine. The machine is designed to remove corn kernels from cobs through a rotating drill and stationary cutter mechanism powered by a hand crank.

Mission Statement
For our MEC 531, we were given the task of designing a
new product in Small & Medium Enterprises, in particular
the field of food processing. In that knowledge we have
chosen to design a machine with the purpose of
extracting corn kernels.
