The document describes the design methods used to create a mask of the character Pumba from The Lion King. An Alice band was used as the base to ensure proper fit. The band was thickened with brown material and wool. Felt was used in different colors for the nose bridge, hair template, and nose/tusks due to its versatility and durability. Black fur-like material was used for the Mohawk by thinning and overlapping layers for volume and to hide stitching. Papier mache was employed to create a structurally sound nose bridge to support the nose and tusks.
