Students at The Hindu Middle School in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu collected paper waste from their classrooms to recycle into useful products instead of burning it. They made pen stands, paper weights, and dust pins from the recycled paper to improve school cleanliness and protect the environment by preventing paper burning. The recycled paper products were presented to teachers as examples of how waste can be reused productively.
