This document discusses the importance of using description to help readers visualize scenes in a story, rather than just stating facts. It encourages writers to brainstorm descriptive words, phrases, and sentences about settings without overthinking in order to practice evoking vivid mental images through their writing. Readers are then challenged to experiment with describing different moments from their initial brainstorming ideas to help strengthen their descriptive skills.
