My Best Friend; Eka
Eka is my friend since we are kid. He is from
Tanglad. We are neighbor and we always go to the same
school. Eka is taller than me. He is about 155 cm in height.
However, he is thinner than me. He is only 45 Kg, while I
am 47 Kg. He has blonde hair, pointed nose, and oval
face. Eka has fair skin. Talking about eyes, he has black
eyes. His favorite food is hamburger with fries and coke.
We often playing video games together in my house. But
sometime we love swimming in water park near our
neighborhood. Eka is a kind boy. He often helps me doing
homework. Eka and I are best friend forever.
What is Descriptive text?
“Descriptive text is a text which describe
about a particular person, place or thing”
So, it can be said that this descriptive
text is a text that explains about whether
a person or an object is like, whether its
form, its properties, its amount and
others.
There are two generic
structures of
descriptive text : >

Identification (Identifikasi)
Description (Deskripsi)

This part contains about the
introduction of a person, place,
animal or object will be
described. Identification serves
to introduce to readers about
the object that we will explain,
before we tell in more detail
about the object in the next
paragraph.
This part contains a
description of something
such as animal, things,
place or person by
describing its features,
forms, colors, or anything
related to what the writer
describe.
How to describe people? 2. descriptive words/phrases
(kata / frase deskriptif)
Example: light (putih), fair
cerah), tall (tinggi)
short (pendek)
1. Adjectives (kata sifat)
Examples:
Maria is smart and
beautiful.
Her parents are older
than mine.
3. Personality /characteristics.
(kepribadian / karakteristik.)
Example: polite (sopan), honest
(jujur), careless
(ceroboh)

need to recognize three
important aspects that will
be needed, they are:

My sister, Putu
My sister is four years older than me. Her name is Putu Erna
Damayanti. I usually call her Mbok Tu. “Mbok” is a Balinese nick name
for calling an elder sister.
She has the same hair like my mother, black and quite curly. My sister,
mother and I have almost the same body tall. Her height is about 157
cm.
Like our father, she is a government employee. She wears glasses for
helping her see clearly. She occasionally wears contact lenses. We
fought a lot when we were kids. She is a kind sister though.
