Images of the interior of the Front Door, which is a Double Glazed PVC Door.
The thermal image highlights the ingress of cold air through the seals of the door, where the door should be
sealed to the frame.
It highlights that cold air is passing through both the left hand and right hand lower sections of the door.
A Temperature Profile Line Graph has been added to the image to highlight the temperature variation beteen
the walls, door and the area where the seals are leaking. Cold air ingress can also be seen tthrough the letter
box.
Spot temperature markers have been added to show the temperature variation.
The Auto Cold Spot Indicator has been applied and is indicating (CS1), that at the coldest point, the Apparent
Temperature is approx 7 degrees C colder in comparison to the wall temperatures of approx 19/20 degrees
C.

The images are of the En-suite bathroom ceiling and highlight cold patches in the ceiling, around the
Downlight and Extractor Fan Vent.
Further investigation (refer to images 83, 85, 86 & 87), showed that the loft insulation had been removed
from these ceiling areas when the bathroom was altered and the downlights and extract fan vent were fitted.
This highlights the difference in areas where the loft insulation is fitted and where it is now missing, thus
allowing cold ingress into the bathroom.
With the Spot temperature markers and the Auto Cold Spot Indicator, a temperature differential of approx 4/5
degrees can be seen across the ceiling.

Review:
Demonstration Thermography Report to highlight the capabilities of the Testo 882 series Thermal Imaging
camera and the Testo IR software.
This is an example report for Demonstration purposes only. The Report format is the "standard" template from
the selection of Report Templates available in the software. The images used in this report were taken with a
Testo 882 Thermal Imaging camera.
The Thermal images and this report are compiled to indicate the capability of the camera and the software and
its suitability for Thermally Surveying a wide range of applications, Industrial, Electrical, Building and many
more. The images are of a Detached property in the UK.
It should be noted that the Emissivity of individual materials / components were not taken into consideration for
the purpose of the Demonstration and therefore the indicated (Apparent),temperatures may not be truely
representative in this instance.
The purpose of the visit was to Demonstrate the Thermal Imaging camera, to show its capabilities and show
how it can be utilised for conducting Thermal Surveys of Buildings. The survey was not conducted in detail it
was for the purpose of the Demonstration of the equipment. The images taken are examples of some typical
anomalies that may be found when conducting a Thermal survey of a Domestic Dwelling.
The images taken were not of any specific areas or conditions/anomalies, the images taken/used were purely

20. Demonstration Thermography Report
The images taken were not of any specific areas or conditions/anomalies, the images taken/used were purely
for the Demonstration of the camera and the software.
The images taken were solely for the purpose of Demonstrating the Equipment and the software, not for
specific fault finding in this instance.
Testo do not provide Consultancy /Conclusions for any of the images taken during the course of the
Demonstration.
It is not the purpose of this report to specifically identify any faults found or comment on the images, it is to
highlight the capabilities of the camera / software and its use for various applications.
Some of the features of the camera and software have been applied to the images, such as:
Spot Temperature Markers have been added to the Thermal images to indicate temperatures.
Auto Hot / Cold Spot Indicator has been applied, which automatically highlights the Hottest or Coldest
temperature point in a defined area.
Temperature Profile Line Graph shows the temperature variation in graph form across the subject.
The images are automatically Time and Date stamped to verify the time and date when the image was taken.
The report also details the Emissivity Value relating to the image taken.
