What is the Willamette Chapter you ask?
How can we benefit you?
Oregon's seven (7) individual chapters each represent credit
unions located within designated geographical boundaries.
Chapters are associations of people who share common goals
and objectives and work collectively to ensure the success of
the Credit Union Movement.
Chapters provide a forum where credit union employees and
volunteers can meet and benefit from the ideas, experience,
and viewpoints of others. They are dedicated to encouraging
the growth of credit union philosophy by promoting
education, networking, advocacy, and service. In addition,
chapter leadership roles provide an environment for
professional growth and ongoing development of leadership
and management skills.
Chapter meetings offer programs on operations, political
issues, marketplace trends, member service, and professional
growth. All chapter activities are guided by a single objective
– to foster the statewide growth of the Credit Union
Movement.

shaking things up this year with their Holi-

$10 fee, BUT that fee goes towards helping
out either the Springfield Police Department
K-9 Units or the Newspaper in Education.
What a neat idea, way to go guys!

Unfortunately hunger is always a problem in our communities. Northwest Community Credit
Union and Food for Lane County have stepped up to the plate this holiday season. This year
(and last) they set up a website, that all you have to do is make a comment, and they’ll donate
one can of food. They made their goal of 1,000 comments last year, and they’re hoping they
made it again, way to go Northwest! Love the ideas!
