    LIGHT
How To Follow Your Path.
"To achieve a strong foundation in life , we must practice over a long time, without
interruption, believing in it and looking forward to it, with an attitude of service."




    Whenever you undertake anything new, whether a relationship, a job, or a course
    of study, you have to embrace the fact that there is going to be some effort
    involved. You must consciously create the foundation you hope to build on, not
    just to attain a successful outcome but also to feel good in the process. Becoming
    a parent, starting a business, playing the violin, surfing-whatever your
    undertaking, if you approach it with the the right attitude, you will experience
    more joy in the activity itself and create a solid foundation on which to build for
    the future.
Your Foundation

To create "a solid ground" in your new adventure, it is crucial to recognize that what
you are undertaking cannot be perfected over night, that you have to commit over
time to get lasting, sustainable results. In other words there is no such thing as
instant gratification!
Your Commitment

    Your Commitment

You must address your commitment to the process. Your efforts must be
wholehearted: an attitude of a little bit here and a little bit there is not going to help
you reach your goal. Imagine trying to run a marathon without putting in the
training, or trying to lose weight while eating healthfully only once in a while.
Your Belief

    Your Belief

You must have a true belief in what you are doing. If you approach a task with
uncertainty, or with the attitude that your endeavor will fail, you are setting
yourself up for disappointment. If you believe in what you are doing your efforts will
have a much greater impact. For example. If you are an activist in lobbying for
getting your school to provide the kids with organic school lunches, you have to
believe in the cause if your effects are to be effective. Your belief in what you are
doing is what inspires others to support your work, and it helps you maintain your
own momentum and enthusiasm.
Your Joy

    Your Joy

You must look forward to what you are doing. Whatever you set out to do, on some
level you must enjoy the job at hand. Even if what you are doing is difficult or
tiring, there can still be joy and satisfaction in the effort if you know that you will
experience something positive from it. This is vital, as without your joy, you will be
prone to burnout or to abandoning your commitment.
Your Service

    Your Service

Providing service, you must approach each new endeavor with an attitude of service.
You can do this by asking yourself, How can I best serve my work? My relationship?
This practice. If you are a parenting, one way you can serve that practice is by
making sure that you get enough rest, time for yourself, and healthful food, so that
when you are with your children you can be at your best. Service to your efforts
might mean getting a good night's sleep before making a big presentation at work.
Or it could simply mean approaching your work, whether that work is volunteering
at a non profit or running a huge international corporation, with an attitude that
will best serve your efforts.
Leap Of Faith
    Leap Of Faith

Faith is closely related to self esteem, personal conviction or determination. If you are
consciously making an effort to achieve greater clarity, your conviction will be
followed by the strength and persistence to remember your direction and to reach
your goal of total and clear understanding.
Practically speaking, your inner strength is that deep trust that arises when faced
with a challenging situation. It's the guidance force inside you that urges you to
keep putting one foot in front of the other until you come into a safe place. This
resource is one of our greatest assets- a way to help us connect to our own true self.
Do not be alarmed if your faith seems to wane and fluctuate. We have days when we
feel more more confident and self assured, and days when we doubt ourselves.
The potential to build faith is within all of us, though many of us might not be aware
of that potential or use it to our advantage. The right support {a good teacher, a friend,
partner or mentor can help us cultivate and strengthen the faith in ourself.
To Conclude.....

    The results of putting these daily principles into practice will ensure that you
    will reach your life's goals.

By staying anchored, calm and stable you will find that your relationships with
others, your moods, your reactions to life situations, will become beneficial to
achieving your passion and life goals.
With this new awareness in yourself, you will be able to handle the transition to
your new life with great ease and clarity.
