October 2012 – Present – Iron Mountain UK
Data Centre Specialist – Data Processing, storage of confidential material and delivery of
client’s orders.
April 2006 to December 2011 – The Stanland Group LTD – Thornaby
Apprentice Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Installation Team , Warehouse
Working with Services Engineers repairing industrial laundry and kitchen equipment such as
Warwick Tumble Dryers, Lavamac Washing Machines, DC Dishwashers. I also repaired
many other types of equipment i.e. grills, fryers and water boilers (type of boiler to provide
hot water for cups of tea and coffee ECT). As part of the install team I connected up washers,
dryers and any other equipment requiring an electrical supply as well as connect up the water
supply and drains. On new builds we sometimes installed new water pipes and drainage
system along with the laundry and kitchen equipment.
I also spent time in the warehouse/stores packing parts and sending them via currier or post as
well as doing stock takes and restock shelves. I also dealt with all other post which included
letters to customers and leaflets with the latest offers.
