This document outlines categories of tools for different tasks and defines data collection and analysis tasks. These tasks include students collecting their own data or finding existing data sets, as well as analyzing the data by finding patterns and trends, working with words, ideas, and numbers, and classifying, sequencing, and relating different parts of the data to each other.
