Vitacreme B12 is a Swiss skincare brand that launched in 1999. It contains vitamin B12, which clinical studies have shown improves skin elasticity by promoting collagen and elastin fiber production. The brand's product line includes a regenerative cream, body milk, anti-aging serum, lightening cream, eye and lip balm, and other products. A 2011 clinical study of the anti-aging serum found it significantly reduced wrinkles over 56 days and improved skin properties, and was well tolerated.

Vitacreme B12, The first vitamin B12 based cosmetic cream launched on the market
Our company started its distribution activities in Switzerland and abroad in 1999 under the individual
corporate name OPTIMA COSMETIC D. VIETTO. In February 2010 the status of the individual company
changed to be the limited company DARVIDIS SA. It was founded in Switzerland in Boussens, a small village
in Vaud at the heard of our country.
The quality and effectiveness of our products, which is unanimously acknowledged, has allowed the
VITACREME B12 brand to attain the success which it currently enjoys. Interest in the brand has continued
to grow on the export market, particularly in Asian countries and especially in Japan, a country known for
being one of the most difficult markets in the world, where the Regenerative Cream has become one of
the most sold products. The success of our products is continuing to grow in this country, which is the best
representative of the brand in the world. The Japanese success has been echoed in the surrounding
countries and new distributors are interested in the brand.
The formulations comply with the international legislation and cosmetic directives.

4. Nowadays the VITACREME B12 product range is distributed in the majority of the leading countries
worldwide by means of various distribution channels. These excellent results have encouraged other
countries to distribute the product. The brand is currently known and sold in 30 countries throughout the
world. It is registered in Switzerland under the number IFPI 329924 and internationally under the no. WIPO
873238. VITACREME B12 is recognised and bears the quality label SWISS LABEL.
To date, the brand VITACREME B12 is registered and protected in 35 countries.

5. Vitamin B12 features
The eutrophic activity of Vitamin B12, administered through general way, is well known.
The pharmacological studies have shown that vitamin B12, when applied in percutaneous application,
increases the elasticity of tissue by promoting the reorganization of the network of elastin fibres and the
production of collagen fibres, thin and regular. This action has the overall effect of “rejuvenation of the skin”.
The result of these pharmacological studies have been corroborated by clinical tests conducted with the
regenerative cream VITACREME B12: very significant reduction of wrinkles and folds of skin, significant
improvements in elasticity and suppleness of the skin, significant correction of dry skin.

6. About VITACREME B 12
VITACREME B12 was the first cosmetic cream containing Vitamin B12 on the market.
The basic ingredient, guiding of all VITACREME B12 products, is the vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). Depending on
the product and its application, other valuable active ingredients enriched the formulations for an improved
efficiency.
The formulations comply with the international legislation and cosmetic directives. The finished products are

10. BODY MILK 200 ml
This essential care for the body stimulates the renewal of the tissue’s metabolism and restitutes firmness to the
supporting cutaneous structures, thanks to its tensing effect conferred by the firming, toning and energizing
agents. It nourishes , improves the skin’s suppleness and elasticity, favours the restructuration of the epidermis,
prevents effectively the tissue slackening and ensures an optimal hydration. The constant and regular use of this

Application :
Morning and/or evening, after bath or shower. Apply on the body and massage with circular and ascending

11. ANTI-AGEING SERUM 30 ml
A cocktail of extra concentrated active agents to efficiently fight against wrinkles and fine lines. It contains
valuable vitamins specially selected for their reparative and regenerative properties. It is intended for local use,
particularly for the treatment of "crow's feet" and facial expression wrinkles. Its effect is clearly visible from the

Moisturizes and protects. This non greasy balm is an intense care which protects and soothes the fragile and

dehydration and prevents the premature skin ageing. Formulated from natural beeswax and enriched with
precious vegetable extracts of shea-tree, glycerin and squalane, it is the ideal care to regain a soft and satiny
skin and naturally smooth and soft lips. Extracts of centella asiatica, combined with collagen activating peptides,
also allow an optimal rejuvenating and anti-wrinkle effect.

combination of active ingredients keeps the skin well moisturized and protects it against the harmful effects of

This cleansing milk gently removes make-up and skin impurities. It's suitable for all skin types, even the more

Use daily to gently cleanse the skin and to remove make-up from the face, neck and décolleté.

Application :

17. Exfoliating Cream 100 ml
The specific action of this care is to improve the skin's appearance by acting on its' superficial layers. It removes
dead skin cells and replaces it with radiant, smooth and rejuvenated skin. The skin is gently cleansed, hydrated
in depth, and regains its vitality. The presence of corn starch mattifies and unifies the skin tone. Cell
regeneration is stimulated to reduce the signs of ageing.
Application :
Apply a thin layer and massage in circular motion for several minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Polyethylene (polythene), Jojoba Esters (Simmondsia Chinensis),

18. Regenerating Mask 100 ml
The active ingredients of this mask provide the skin with a triple action :
• Cleanse : the natural clay absorbs impurities and visibly improves the skins’ aspect.
• Hydrate : The high water content optimizes the skins moisture level and strengthens its natural protection
barrier.
• Regenerate : Active ingredients, such as caffeine and vitamin b12, enhance microcirculation and stimulate
the skin. This leads to healthier and more relaxed skin and improves its metabolic functions.
Application :
Once to twice a week. Apply a uniform layer on the face,
neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area, and leave
for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly after ten minutes
with lukewarm water.

19. Sunscreen Cream High Protection SPF 50, 50 ml
This Sunscreen High Protection is formulated with an ideal combination of vitamins (B5, C, E and B129 as
well as UVA-UVB SPF 50+++ sunscreen. This unique combination of active ingredients keeps the skin
hydrated and protects it against harmful effects of the sun. It helps to prevent premature ageing and wrinkles
caused by sun exposure.
Application :
Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Reapply as needed.

Provitamin B5 (panthenol), Ethylhexylglycerin,

20. Part of the clinical study
The aim of the study is to try and demonstrate in human beings the specific properties of vitamin B12,
administrated in skin application, on the elasticity of the skin and on its general eutrophic condition.
The pharmacological studies have shown that vitamin B12, when used in such conditions, increases the
elasticity of the integument by promoting the reorganisation of the network of elastin fibres and the production
of thin and even collagen fibres.

21. Part of the clinical study (2)
The statistical analysis, using a pre-formatted programme and analysed by computer, gives the following
results :
Pigmentation / Freckles : there is no valid statistical difference between the areas treated with the B12 cream,
the placebo and the untreated areas.
Wrinkles and skin folds : the B12 cream reduces, to a very significant degree, the importance of the wrinkles
skin folds, when compared to the placebo and the untreated areas.
Elasticity : the B12 cream significantly improves the elasticity of the skin when compared to the areas treated
with the placebo and the untreated areas.
Dryness : the B12 cream corrects, in a very significant manner, the dryness of the skin compared to the areas
treated with the placebo and the untreated areas.
Thickness of the skin folds : given the fact that variations between individuals are greater than the variations
between groups, the increase in the thickness of the skin folds increases significantly in the areas treated with
B12 cream compared with the areas treated with the placebo. This increase is nevertheless not significant in
comparison to the untreated areas.

Conclusions
If we take up the conclusions of the pharmacological study which has revealed that Vitamin B12 acts predominantly at
the level of the elastic fibrils, the clinical results that we report are in complete agreement. Moreover, we have been able
to show an improvement, as a result of the use of Vitamin B12, of the hydrophilic skin condition by correcting its initial
dryness.
Vitamin B12, when administrated by percutaneous method, corrects one of the basic stigmas of skin ageing, and
therefore opens up a new way in the preventive as well as the curative areas of skin ageing.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION
Under these study conditions, the product VITACREME B12 anti-ageing serum
AFTER 56 DAYS OF TWICE DAILY USE
induced a smoothing and anti-wrinkle effect characterized by :
• a limit significant decrease in the number of microrelief furrows;
• a limit significant decrease in the number of medium wrinkles;
• a significant decrease in the number of deep wrinkles;
• a significant decrease in the number of total wrinkled surface;
• an anti-wrinkle and smoothing effect was mesured in respectively 70 % et 90 % of the subjects

25. Anti-ageing Serum Study report (3)
The product was appreciated by the subjects for its properties (easy application and penetration, non sticky
effect) and its efficiency. The product leaves the skin moisturized, comfortable, soft, smooth, firm and younger.
Improvement in skin aspect, tensor, anti-wrinkle and lifting effects, less visible marks of tiredness, wrinkles and
fine lines gummed.
70 % of the subjects would like to continue to use the product and might buy it at the end of the study.

26. Tests on wrinkles caused by age
The regenerative cream VITACREME B12 used for these tests was applied daily during 7 weeks, on 100 persons,
aged between 20 and 60 years old and over, with dry, mixed and oily skins. The cream penetrated easily neither
too greasy nor too dry. The cream is rapidly absorbed and does not make any shine in the sun.
Results of the tests
In 25 % of the cases SPECTACULAR IMPROVEMENT.
Important tightening up of the skin around the neck and the face oval, reduction of the depth of the wrinkles,
softer skin and the cheek wrinkles had disappeared.
In 40 % of the cases VISIBLE IMPROVEMENT.
Skin with a satisfactory moisture content, the skin is more elastic with a tightening of the tissues of the neck
skin.
In 35 % of the cases IMPROVEMENT IN THE MOISTURE LEVEL of the skin and in the elasticity of the tissues.
IN CONCLUSION, THE RESULTS ARE REMARKABLE. In all cases the action of VITACREME B12 takes effect very
rapidly. The effects are clearly visible after the first week of the treatment. The results are most satisfactory
concerning the elasticity of the skin tissues and the skin moisture.
In general, the clinical tests confirm a stimulation of the biosynthesis in the connective tissues of the dermis
and particularly a stimulating action with a reconstitution of elastin in the intermediate dermo-epidermal zone.

The skin of the guides and instructors is dry, thick and slightly wrinkled.
The injuries are superficial skin lesions caused by overexposure to ultraviolet rays encountered at high altitude.
The lesions were aggravated by the climate, time spent on the glaciers, wind and extreme cold at high altitude.
The lesions are characterised by sun rashes, possibly with blister and/or desquamation (shedding of skin).
VITACREME B12 was applied on all individuals suffering from skin lesions.
