I write you in support of Darcy Garrison. I have known Darcy for six years. Over this time I have
observed her as a parent, paraeducator at my school and as a family friend. She has excelled in each of
these roles. As the science teacher at Greybull Middle School for the last eleven years, I have had
experience working with dozens of paraprofessionals and. Darcy Garrison has proven to be one of the
best. Darcy will be greatly missed as she has been an invaluable member of my team and our school. I
worked closely with her daily as we collaborated to provide high quality education experiences.I am
confident that Darcy Garrison possesses the critical attributes and competencies to contribute to the
success of your team.
Ms. Garrison was not a formally trained educator when she joined our team, but she quickly earned the
trust and respect of students and staff alike. As a result, Darcy was regularly given the responsibility of
ensuring the education of our most difficult and highest need students. The students Darcy worked with
each day have a propensity for violence, disrespect, and disobedience. Her caseload would give the most
veteran educator problems, but Darcy capably and courageously navigated every situation with
professionalism and patience, while remaining firm to high expectations. Darcy Garrison is clearly a very
intelligent and competent person, but I believe much of her success has comes from her great ability to
collaborate.
Darcy is able to listen, observe and note fine details, which makes her a great resource for a team as
working together to solve problems. She has been a great resource for me over the years and her insights
have contributed to my professional success. Ms. Garrison is an absolute joy to be around, and I will miss
her greatly. She has an infectious optimism and positivity that contributes to a healthy workplace climate.
Darcy has proven to be a confident and clear communicator. Her professional tone on the phone and in
written communications has represented our school well. As a frequent member of hiring committees, I
understand how difficult it can be to find and hire the best candidates. Darcy has been a great hire for us
and I am certain she will be for you as well. Please consider this my highest recommendation of Darcy
