Cyclones are a large masses of air that rotate around a center of low pressure.
Depending on where it forms, cyclones spin in different directions. When it
forms in the southern hemisphere it spins clockwise, and when it forms on the
northern hemisphere it spins counter-clockwise.

Strong enough winds are able to rip trees out of the ground.
It can send debris flying into people or animals.
Infrastructure such as power lines may be damaged during a
cyclone.
13. WHAT TO DO BEFORE A CYCLONE
Prepare a survival kit.
Reinforce your roof.
Make sure trees around your home are trimmed.
If you live near a river, or the ocean, immediately evacuate if the authorities
warn of a cyclone coming.
Clear the drains around your home.
14. WHAT TO DO DURING A CYCLONE
Move to an evacuation center if it is safe to move.
Stay indoors and avoid windows.
Listen to the radio or tv to stay updated.
Close and secure doors.
15. WHAT TO DO AFTER A CYCLONE
Do not go outside until it is safe to do so.
Listen to the radio or tv for any warnings.
If you have evacuated from your home, do not return until advised.
Be cautious of damaged trees, power lines, bridges, or buildings.
