Friday, June 4th
-Arrive in Genoa
-Our hotel is in the center of Varazze, a resort village on the Mediterranean just 9 kms from
Alpicella, and the site of THE Damele/Valerga wedding.
- Time to get settled and relax.
-Afternoon is free to explore Varazze.
-Welcome dinner together at one of Varazze’s popular restaurants.
Saturday, June 5th
-Entire day in Alpicella. Explore the village, the cemetery, the central monument, and talk to the
locals about our family, both past and present.
-Lunch will be together at a local restaurant in Alpicella, relishing fond memories of the family.
-Evening and Dinner in Varazze will be a discovery on your own.
Sunday, June 6th
-Morning visit to Savona, the picturesque seafront village which is only 15 kms west of Varazze.
-Afternoon guided tour of historic Genoa, the largest sea-port in Italy.
-Farewell dinner in Varazze, celebrating joyful memories of our ancestral heritage.
Monday, June 7th
-Morning transfer to either the airport or train station in Genoa, in preparation for the
remainder of your trip.

This package includes hotel, ground transportation, activities, meals, and wines as outlined in
the program. Air is NOT included to/from Genoa.
CANCELLATION: If cancelled up to 60 days prior, there is a $250 cancellation fee. If
cancelled between 60 – 30 days prior, penalty is 50% of the total cost of the trip. The trip is
non-refundable if cancelled within 30 days of departure.
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
