fills in a different box with the corresponding information. SS scan the
text to find specific information on the author’s passion and activities
related to it.
Bonus activity p. 152: read the descriptions of Gardener and
Landscape Designer, as well as the statements, as they read, SS should
identify key words and look up in the dictionary those that are
unfamiliar.
TUESDAY 12th
• Visible thinking/grammar
- Reading program (30 minutes)
-St. book pages 55: In teams, SS complete the chart: Job requirements
and Preferred skills. Each SS contributes with one idea to complete the
table.
- Review the use of past perfect tense and Ss write down 5 sentences in
affirmative, negative and interrogative form.
WEDNESDAY 13th

-Reading contest exam
-St. Book p. 56: , SS read the Florida Herald ad and complete the
Candidate´s Profile.
-SS read individually Kevin’s Cover Letter. T has SS reflect on the parts of
the letter.
THURSDAY 14th
• Vocabulary builder / listening
-Reading program (30 minute)
-St book page 57, 58: listen to the vocabulary words, write sentnces
and a use them to write a poem.
-Bonus activity page 154.
FRIDAY 15th
• Step into the past/grammar
-St. Book p. 59: SS read the text and underline the main idea and
supporting ideas of each paragraph.
-In pairs, SS complete the chart on p. 59 writing down the main idea in
each paragraph and matching them to the correct supporting ones.
-grammar appendix ps. 181, 182 (past perfect continuous)
