Kunming Dian Lake Project
Dian Lake is the one of the largest freshwater lakes in China. It is located in Kunming
City, Yunnan Province in southwestern China. For years, the lake has encountered big
problems with regards to pollution and cyanobacteria outbreaks. Even with billions of
dollars spent into the lake in the past decade, cyanobacteria levels are still at
alarming rates.
Biocleaner then need a trial at one of the outflows of Dian Lake. Here with a total
length of around 500 meters and width of around 15 meters, we conducted our tests to
prove that Biocleaner can get rid of cyanotoxins such as microcystin. We did treatment
for the outflow stretch for a period of 2 months. Attached are several pictures and
third party test results of microcystin levels before and after Biocleaner treatment.
