Arab National Bank – Credit Card Center – Chargeback Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities: CHB Acquirer (from May 2008 to present)
• Printing daily incoming Chargeback and Copy Requests reports for Visa and
Mastercard MTR1741 - MTR1735 - MTR4711- MTR3705 from Vison Plus for
chargebacks details.
• Scrutinizing all chargebacks and copy requests.
• Prepares for Sales Slip requests with transaction details and sending to the
Merchants.
• Fulfilling all received sales slip copies from the merchants for Retrieval
Requests.
• To ensure all valid chargebacks and debiting merchants account weekly.
• Re-presenting invalid chargebacks with supporting documents within 45 days
from the chargeback date.
• Providing representment documents within 3 to 4 days from the representment
date.
• Monitoring all incoming copy requests, pre-arbitration, pre-compliance,
arbitration, compliance filling.
• Responding all incoming pre-arbitration and Arbitration cases from the Issuer
Bank within 30 days.
• Maintaining daily and monthly MIS (Management Information System) for all
chargebacks, copy requests, Pre-Arb and Arbitrations.
• Monthly reconcilation for the Visa account proof to ensure that all incoming
chargeback transactions were debited merchant and represented.

Duties & Responsibilities: CHB Issuer (from July 2006 to April 2008)
• Receives daily customer’s disputes from CRM, Customer Care Unit, Risk
Management Unit, Branch mail, as well as Phone Banking Emails and
individuals.
• Scrutinizes all disputes, extracting transactions data and preparing the case
folders.
• Updates the disputes log and prepares acknowledgement letters for the
customers and send by mail or email.
• Creates chargeback, copy request as per the decision through First Data
International (FDI) for Visa and Master cards.
• Attends customers daily inquiries over telephones, emails and responds as
necessary,
• Sends and retrieving documents through Visaonline and Mastercom.
• Monitoring ageing for copy requests, downloading received copies thru
Visaonline and Mastercom as well as from the local merchant.
• Extracts data for representments details and updating the log sheets,
Academic Qualification.
Bachelor of commerce from Dhaka University with accounting major.
Other subject includes Economics and Management.
Addition qualification:
Completed operating course and acquire profound knowledge and extensive working
experience on the following software application system
1. Sound knowledge of MS OFFICE, (MS WORD, MS EXCEL)
2. SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF INTERNET BROWSING AND SEARCHING.
