Current research interests:
1. Analytical development of anharmonic IR and RAMAN spectroscopy.
2. Development of generalized analytical expressions and its application for a new
variational principle to calculate the thermal averages for arbitrary operator.
3. Development of time dependent self-consistent approach for variational principle
in the spirit of independent particle model
4. Development of highly efficient and massively parallel algorithms for the
anharmonic vibrational spectroscopy of large molecules and its applications.
5. Development of black-box software (long term proposal) for MM and QM
calculations.
6. Study of reaction mechanism for complex reactions.
7. IR/RAMAN Spectroscopy of solvated systems, extended clusters and weak
interactions.
Previous Research
1. Development of algorithm and investigation of anharmonic IR spectra of large biological
molecules like peptides, ploy-saccharides and proteins.
2. Atomistic modeling and simulations of hybrid material systems: a systematic
development and parameterization of polarizable and reactive force fields.
3. Investigation of vibrational spectroscopy of ionic solvation using IR/Raman.
4. Investigation of anharmonic molecular vibrations using vibrational self-consistent field
(VCSF) and effective harmonic oscillator (EHO) theory to determine different physical and
chemical properties of molecular systems, using quantum mechanical ansatze and thermal
density matrices.
5. Investigation of structure, reactivity and stability of different high energy density
molecules and conformational analysis, and its application to high energetic polymer
chemistry
6. Investigation of reaction mechanism for complex bio-molecular reactions.

  • 2. Curriculum Vitae | 2 Current research interests: 1. Analytical development of anharmonic IR and RAMAN spectroscopy. 2. Development of generalized analytical expressions and its application for a new variational principle to calculate the thermal averages for arbitrary operator. 3. Development of time dependent self-consistent approach for variational principle in the spirit of independent particle model 4. Development of highly efficient and massively parallel algorithms for the anharmonic vibrational spectroscopy of large molecules and its applications. 5. Development of black-box software (long term proposal) for MM and QM calculations. 6. Study of reaction mechanism for complex reactions. 7. IR/RAMAN Spectroscopy of solvated systems, extended clusters and weak interactions. Previous Research 1. Development of algorithm and investigation of anharmonic IR spectra of large biological molecules like peptides, ploy-saccharides and proteins. 2. Atomistic modeling and simulations of hybrid material systems: a systematic development and parameterization of polarizable and reactive force fields. 3. Investigation of vibrational spectroscopy of ionic solvation using IR/Raman. 4. Investigation of anharmonic molecular vibrations using vibrational self-consistent field (VCSF) and effective harmonic oscillator (EHO) theory to determine different physical and chemical properties of molecular systems, using quantum mechanical ansatze and thermal density matrices. 5. Investigation of structure, reactivity and stability of different high energy density molecules and conformational analysis, and its application to high energetic polymer chemistry 6.
