o This EPCI project (4.5 million USD) is part of a wider new Refinery and Sulphur pellets
production project and is expected to be completed in 2019; HSS JV won the “Maritime
Works” package that consists in, mainly, the construction of an artificial island offshore (with
all the necessary installations and equipment), the pipeline to connect it to the Refinery, a
boat harbor and a reclamation area. The project operational part is due to start in May
2016.
o My main role and responsibilities are to set up the project HSE Organization, Management
System, procedures and activities .
o To manage the aforesaid HSE Teams and activities, in compliance with the local
Legislation, Client’s requirements and HSS JV procedures, while liaising, where
necessary, with the local HSE Authorities.
