Responsible for planning, supervising and executing the proposed project; the Installation of Street light along the
median on the Rehabilitation of Main Artery Dual Carriageway within Lekki Epe Axis, Lagos in compliance with the
Conditions and Specifications of the Contract, Quality Control and Assurance.
All the activities within the scope of works of the project are:
• Taking of traffic data on the road using hyper-terminal of BOSVARK & PADVARK wimsloggers.
• Provide supporting evaluating information provided by LCC contractors and consultants to determine compliance
with standards and the company’s regulation.
• Supervision of Traffic Lights installations at various Intersections on Lekki-Ajah Expressway
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to all Electrical installations within LCC in achieving the Basic objectives of
maintaining the LEKKI EPE EXPRESSWAY.
• Monitoring and reporting traffic light functionality and its accessories.
• Provision of PVC pipes for service(telecom)duct and cable duct(4 and 6 Inches diameter)
• Testing of all 400w sodium bulbs and ascertain that the non-corrosive galvanized pole is 16m each.
• Ensuring that all circuit breakers used are tested and are in accordance to specification this includes 63A MCCB, 25A
MCB, and 125A CONTACTOR, by thoroughly monitoring and managing Electrical and Mechanical infrastructure
on the project owned by LCC.
• Laying and termination of the 4*50mm2 core armored (Supply cable) from the substation 33KVA to the lightning
substation.
• Installation of the Photo censors ATS panel, voltage regulators and adjusting of relay timer.
• Proper termination of the 4*35mm2 core cable from the substation to the termination point of the lightning pole.
• Even distribution of loads on each phase with proper earthen (16mm2 1-cores).
• Ensuring that the brightness of the bulb is properly structured.
• Construction of the base of the non-galvanized iron pole at 300mm.
• Provide physical support to the various plaza maintenance teams in the monitoring and review of Electrical and
Mechanical installations.
• Maintain close working relationship with all LCC teams and key stakeholders as appropriate; including contractors,
consultants, suppliers, business partners etc.
• Writing technical report to the Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
