PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT & EXPERIENCE: -
1)August 1998- till now:
In 1998 august I was selected to work for a Saudi Cement company-
SPCC-southern province cement company- as a garage engineer, my duty was
to supervise the maintenance team which composed of different nationalities
such as, Indians, Saudis, Egyptians, Moroccans, Yemenis, Sirilancans,
Philippines, Syrians & Pakistanis, to perform PM&BM maintenance for a fleet
composed of 120 unit of different types of heavy equipments such as
caterpillar 775D, 775E ,775F dump trucks, 990H, 992C, 966H, 980C,980H Wheel
loaders, D9L, D10N, D10R,D10T Bulldozers, 50B wabco dump trucks, 210M
3. dresser dump trucks, o&k. excavators , ingelsorand compressors, IR- ECM350
crawler drills , rock L8 atlas copco, and D1500 Sandvick , drilling machines
,medium trucks ,and supporting light vehicles, which are working in the
quarries to produce ,load, and haul ,raw materials for the cement
manufacturing.
all these equipment, are equipped with various types of diesel engine , for
example the dump trucks 775 series , are all equipped with caterpillar
3412e and C27 ACERT diesel engines ,the wabco dump trucks are equipped
with cummins 1517 diesel engines ,the compressors are equipped with detroit-
71 diesel engines ,t he wheel loaders , the buldozers , etc .. etc ,are all
equipped with diesel engines with different capacities and different horse
power ,to suit the equipment and where it is used.
further more , all these different kinds of diesel engines , we are overhauling in
our workshop under my direct supervision ,from a-z.
and after overhauling , when the machines are on site , any breakdown , or
trouble shooting , was done under my supervision ,till the machine restored
again to work.
Also more than 100 different kind of light vehicles ( camry , landcrausers ,
Nissan ,hiluxes, etc ..etc) are maintained and repaired in our garage under my
supervision , in the same way of the heavy equipment.
During my work with spcc I have been send frequently for training courses at
Zahid tractors, the dealer of caterpillar in Saudi Arabia where I studied the new
electronic control systems which had been equipped with all the new
caterpillar equipments, and well trained in using caterpillar ET and cat SIS.
In 2007, I have been promoted to fill the position of head of garage section in
our new cement plant at Tahama
I am still working with SPCC as head of garage section.
2) July 1993 to march 1996:
I joined Amshag engineering services company Sudan, as a service
engineer for the company workshop. My job was to supervise the technical
staff.
By that time the company sent me for an advanced course in maintenance
management where I studied:
1-planning and programming of maintenance.
2-Network analysis (by critical path method).
3-Work study.
4-stock control.
5-Replacement theories.
My job responsibilities was to follow up the execution of the maintenance
contracts between the company and the others who are in need of services for
their machinery and equipment. The company has main central workshop and
6 mobile workshops.
Our client’s vehicles included:
1-Agricltural machines, like tractors, harvesters and discs.
2-Motor vehicles mainly Toyota Motors. Our job duties start from the initial
inspection of machinery till the final submission
4. 3) Dec. 1988 - Jul.1993:
After graduation I worked for Taha Elroubi Transport Company, which is a
well-established company in Sudan in the field of road transport and has a
fleet composed of 100 units of American G.M.C trucks, my job responsibilities
as follows.
1. From 1988 to 1990, I held the position of assistant engineer, I have been
well trained in engine rebuilding, gearbox and differentials repairing, trucks
maintenance, spare parts ordering and stock control.
2.From 1990 to 1992, I worked as a maintenance engineer in the light
maintenance workshop. My job duties include follow up the fleet,
troubleshooting and restoring the vehicles on road again.
3.From 1992 to 1993, I worked in the heavy maintenance workshop and engine
rebuilding section. My job duties included overhauling Detroit engines 8V- 92,
and troubleshooting any other technical problems.
