Responsibilities: Handling and care of all types of mail delivered by multiple courier
companies, customer service, communicating and coordinating between couriers, my
supervisor, other staff members, and residents, working with the Pitney Bowes Arrival
system, knowledge of laws such as FERPA and student privacy protection, working with a
diverse resident population and large international student population to understand the
United States addressing and mail system
Buddy Program Partner for the Applied Linguistics Department of Georgia State University (Fall
2014-Spring 2015)
Responsibilities: Provide assistance to an international student that Iwas partnered with in
whatever way I could, including: providing transportation to grocery stores, giving financial
advice, emotional and academic support, social interaction, information about GSU campus
and services
Front Desk Assistant, Student Assistant for Georgia State University Housing Department (August
2013-May 2014)
Responsibilities: Providing customer service to and assisting one of the most diverse student
population in the United States, checking ID cards, check guests in and out of our system,

Tanner Exchange Program through Freudenberg-NOK, May 2012
Description of activities: Ispent one and a half week with a French host family in
southeastern France in order to learn about French culture and history and develop cultural
sensitivity and understanding through immersion by participating in their daily lives. We
spent the first four days in the French Alps at the Camp des Cimes with the family’s church
group. The remaining time I was in France I stayed at with the host family at their home in
the village of Moiron. The eldest daughter, who was my age took me site seeing in Grenoble,
Voiron, and Lyon to places like: The Caves de la Chartreuse, the Amphitheatre and the Lyon
Museum of History and the many historical churches in Lyon like the Basilica of St. Peter,
and the Bastille and at least five different museums and tours in Grenoble.
