Sayed Foysal Ahmed has 16 years’ experience in managing diversified health and right based projects. He has been engaged in project development, project implementation, procurement, capacity development, research, community mobilization, advocacy, Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC), campaign and providing technical input to the local NGOs on strategic utilization of resources and institutionalizes community/stake support for the program. He is also experienced in developing and designing communication and service promotion strategy and campaign plan. In Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) he leaded first ORBIS funded pro-community Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Project and established three hospitals in northern region of Bangladesh. He is also leaded World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) funded ‘Extension of Diabetic Retinopathy Care in Bangladesh’ and established two ophthalmic mobile buses equipped with all equipment, first of its kind in Bangladesh to screen and treat DR patient across the country through Affiliated Association of BADAS. In NSDP, I provided technical assistance to the USAID supported NGOs of Smiling Sun Network on BCC and leaded more than two hundred street dramas and folk songs on Nutrition, child health, maternal health and family planning; three hundred PRA, facilitate training program on community mobilization, BCC & Marketing, counseling.
