PAROAN VISTA (PVT) LTD - Paper Importers and Distributors
Senior Accountant – October 2011 to Date
All daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly processing ofall accounting functions input into Pastel as
well as onto Excel files.
All files and TBs; after all reconciliations are done; are then sent to the Chartered Accountant in
India, who then does the Management Accounts for the Directors.
Payments made in cash or through bank, all Statutory payments, all monthly payments, QPD
payments are handled by me.
ZX FUELS - Fuel importers and distributors.
Accounts Assistant - September 2010 to May 2011
Assisted the FM in processing all accounting transactions from Excel spreadsheets onto Pastel
from Jan. 2010 to date, which was completed speedily and successfully.
Reconciliations of Debtors, Creditors, Banks, Cash and Stock. Also Recons of Pastel capture
against Excel spreadsheets info.for up to date reports.
Belina Payroll transactions processed monthly.
Owing to a medical emergency, I had to accompany my husband on a trip to India. To be fair to the
company, as I was unsure of the period of time required for his recovery, I resigned.
During the month of June, I was in India with my husband and my mother as they both required heart
surgery. I am presently seeking an accounting position.
FRESHPRO - Importation and bulk distribution of food products (A subsidiary of
Innscor).
Finance Manager - February 2008 to August 2010
My team and I ensured that the monthly Income & Expenditure and Balance Sheet reports were
compiled and emailed to InnscorHead Office by due dates.

I managed 5 personnelin the accounting department; 2 personnelin the cleaning department; and
also the receptionist.
Monthly, I handed out all stock take procedures and then processed input into the system of over
1,000 stock items; quantity variances were then investigated and reported.
Compiled and distributed,weekly, the Management Reports on trading accounts for each stock
category.
Ensuring constant communication, with my team’s assistance,in managing the Debtors and
Creditors accounts, which greatly improved all round company relationships. Reporting any areas
of concern to the MD.
Attended the monthly presentations ofall the companies within the retail sector of Innscor, during
which comparisons were made between all the retail stores in accordance to all their monthly
financial reports.
I left Freshpro, as I was offered and accepted a position in a company that had only 3 items on their stock
list, which greatly appealed to me at that time.
TYRE TREADS
Group Accountant - April 2007 to January 2008
Systems and procedures required improvement, which were implemented. This proved
successful,which pleased the top management.
All accounting transactions for 2006 were processed onto the Pastel package. My team and I then
reconciled all the accounts and managed to present the Financial Statements to the Directors by
August 2007. Thereafter, the processing and reconciliations were done daily, in order to keep the
accounting records accurate and up to date.
Although I have enjoyed the challenge at Tyre Treads, I resigned and joined Freshpro, who offered me a
more senior position.
MICROWAREHOUSE - Importers of computers and computer parts
Senior Accountant - July 2001 to March 2007
Ensured all the accounts were kept up to date.
Stocks kept replenished and generally ensured a smooth running of the operation.
Processed monthly payroll transactions on Belina.
Ensured successfulcompletion of monthly stocktake.
Due to the efficient accounting package, Fincon, my team and I were able to reconcile all the
ledger accounts in a very short time-span and compile very accurate reports.
I have really enjoyed this job and have learnt quite a lot more in the accounting field. Unfortunately, this
company did not live up to our initial agreement.
AUTOFORMANCE - May 2001 to June 2001-Vehicle repairs – Assisting a friend to process his
accounts on Pastel until he found someone to take over.
RUENYA GRANITE - February 2001 to April 2001 – Personal Assistant to the two Directors
who dealt in exporting quartz and granite, until the war vets forced closure of this business.

FRASER ALEXANDER ZIMBABWE (PVT) LTD – Specialised recovery of Gold
from mining dumps.
Accountant - October 1998 to April 1999
Processing all accounting transactions from 1998 to date on a package called Cheney Allison, with
such speed and success that I managed to input the prepared manual backlog info. in a time-span
of 1.5 hours per month. The accountant from the South African Head Office timed me without my
knowledge. He was impressed.
Reconciliations of all Balance Sheet accounts were completed in a very short time as the system
input was fairly accurate.
Monthly Management Reports: Cash Flow, Fixed Asset Schedules,Tax Computation and Balance
Sheet were compiled and emailed to Head Office in South Africa.
Monthly salaries processed on Payplus,for just over 300 employees, who were situated at all the
different mines nationwide.
This was a six month contract.
PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS
Senior Bookkeeper - June 1997 to September 1998
Input of Debtors, Creditors, Cash Book, Petty Cash, Journals in order for a trial balance to be
produced (if the client’s accounts were manual).
Reconciliations of Bank Statements, all Balance Sheet Accounts,Fixed Asset Schedules,Tax
Computations, Interest Schedules and finally the Balance Sheet were then compiled. This was done for
various clients on the various accounting packages used by them as we exchanged disks with them in
order for them to update their records with the final journals.
I gained an insurmountable amount of confidence and experience by learning the various accounting packages
and also the processing of accounts to Balance Sheet. I resigned as the offer of working for a South African
company appealed to me.

Assistant Bookkeeper - September 1991 to May 1997
Input of Creditors, Reconciliation of Creditors Control and Creditors Statements and Staff
Accounts,Journals,Petty Cash and Schedules.
I received glowing reports from the auditors,Ernst & Young for my efforts. I resigned as I saw the
opportunity of gaining experience and knowledge in all the accounting aspects to present a complete set of
accounts at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
