• Setup of Priority Banking, Corporates, Private Banking and Women Credit Cards products on the Cards
Management System, Authorization System and Fraud Monitoring System.
• Implementation and testing of Chip Cards Technical changes on the Cards Management Syst em,
Authorization System, Cards Embossing System and Host Security Module (HSM) for EMV/Chip Cards
project over 3 months. The outcome was a successful smooth migration of credit cards to EMV without any
post-deployment issues.
• Design, implementation and testing of the solution for High Availability E-payment and authorization
systems.The solution put a benchmark of 99.5% systems availability in 2014.
• Played a major role in the Disaster Recovery Systems Setup for Cards, E-Payments, Fraud Monitoring and
Cards Embossing Systems.
• Interface Files Certification between Core Banking Systemand Cards Management Systemduring the Core
Banking SystemMigration Project.
• Testing and successful implementation of the interfaces' changes required for the integration between the
POS terminals Switch and the Debit Host/ATMs Switch.
• Certification, technical testing and deployment of payment schemes compliance patches since the year
2009. The patches have been deployed without any post-deployment issues since 2013.
• Technical testing and implementation of the technical changes required for E-Payment Systems for
MasterCard/Visa Cybersource Internet Payment Gateways.
• Technical testing and deployment of revised Fraud Monitoring Rules set on Fraud Monitoring System. The
new rules set increased the efficiency of fraud monitoring operations by eliminating false alerts cases.
• Setup of Co-branded and Islamic Credit Cards products on the Cards Management System, Authorization
System and Fraud Monitoring System
• Technical testing and successful implementation of the technical changes required for the credit cards
enrolment in Verified by Visa and SecureCode for secured e-commerce transactions. This project
decreased the e-commerce transactions fraud losses for credit cards by 99%.
• Successful Implementation and testing of the technical changes required for the integration of Cards
Systems and Mobile Banking and IVR/Internet Banking e-channels.
• Played a role in the post-shifting support of the Cards & E-Payment Systems as part of the Data Centre
shifting project.
2. • Testing/certification of the technical changes required for routing the GCC Debit Cards transactions on
POS terminals to OmanNet switch.
• Resolving more than 300 issues on Cards Management System, Authorization System, Cards Embossing
System and Fraud Monitoring System.
• Played a major role in the successful migration of TSYS Prime, Online and Fraud Guard Systems from
version 3 to version 4.

• First place winner of (Ibdaa) innovation contest for the best idea to increase the organisation profit (2014 -
Second Quarter).
• Winner of appreciation award of (Ibdaa) innovation contest for the idea submitted to cut the costs of the
daily operations (2014 - Third Quarter).

Job Description
Overall Responsibility
• Attending Service calls related to Credit Cards/E-Payment Systems:
• Prime Application
• Online Application
• Fraud Guard Application
• POS Interface
• Ensuring 24 X 7 services of the Payment Systems
• Implementing change requests related to the Payment Systems
• Coordinating with different vendors to fix problems or implement changes when necessary.
The support member will use IT department’s methodology for the Software Development Life Cycle including any
Software Engineering tool. This will result in the team maintaining the original requirements as well as
enhancements of any application that is developed in-house.
3. The support member will also be responsible for integrating upgrades released by any third party applications under
the guidance of the domain manager.
Must coordinate with the respective domain manager's in resolving issues and disputes.
Must make sure that regular updates on progress are conveyed to the respective domain manager.
Must make sure that high quality deliverables and work-products are provided and meet commitments for the
schedule.
Specific Responsibilities

• All application maintenance is undertaken and executed.
• Must ensure that a detailed impact analysis of any change requestis carried out.
• System Enhancements
• The support team will use the Bank’s methodology for the Software Development Life Cycle
including any Software Engineering tool it. necessary.
• Must set milestones for the activities undertaken to improve the overall performance and
coordinate between various groups within the software development team.
• Projects
• Coordinate with the Project Manager in the implementation of new Software Support related
projects, products,and services.
• Liase with the Project Manager for timely completion of tasks as per the set rules of Bank’s
Quality Management System.
• Achieve well-documented and controlled development assuring clarity and transparency is
maintained.
• Must maintain proper control for all Development within the agreed quality parameters.
