Compile and ensure that all critical raw material specs sheets are up to date
and conforms to the required specifications.
Assist the production manager in verifying consumable and raw material
usage vs. budget. As well as obtaining quotes and comparing prices.
Assist with day-to-day production planning.
Write, review and update all standard operating procedures of the
department and ensure that the standard operating procedures for current
processes are always up to date. Ensure that the team receives training on
these procedures and that training files and competencies are always
updated when doing so.
Review SOP’s from other departments prior to final review by production
manager.
Help with the implementation of ISO 9000 in the Virology, Freeze dry and
Cell culture departments.
Aid the production manager in informal process audits, production
documentation audits and process statistical analysis.
In the absence of the Production Manager, ensure that plant, people,
