Beyond Learning: Make Your LMS Mission Critical to Your OrganizationHuman Capital Media
Is your LMS mission critical to your business? Many organizations have an LMS, but only a few demonstrate real business results or are integrated in the day-to-day activities of employees’ lives.
During this webinar, they will look at nontraditional ways to use an LMS so it aligns with your business’s needs, improves the stickiness of the solution and drives measureable business results. The discussion also will include suggestions on how to:
• Create a successful, compelling knowledge portal — Pharmacy Systems case study.
• Drive top-line revenue with e-learning by engaging partners and customers.
• Use e-learning systems to improve employee engagement and productivity.

The IoT has exploded over the past years and will continue to grow. To handle mission-critical workloads and act as an enabler driving innovation at rapid scale, IoT demands a lot of capacity. What if you could deliver on the vision of constant experimentation and innovation at the speed of light? What if you could differentiate yourself from your competitors by innovating more quickly and releasing new products and services faster? Talking about fast, how do you make this possible from an infrastructure perspective? We need infrastructure beyond scalability and availability. How is this achieved?

The Valeri Consulenza Industriale has been involved in research and consultancy in the field of applied sciences, according to an interdisciplinary, since it rarely, nowadays, a problem can be tackled and resolved in a satisfactory manner and complete remaining in a single discipline.
Therefore, the activities of the Valeri Consulenza Industriale is "enlarged" from chemistry to physics, biology, materials science, engineering.
The Valeri Consulenza Industriale offers its support of research and consultancy in all areas where the scientific inquiry it becomes useful and necessary to the solution of specific problems, when the only ordinary skills of a domestic company or a public body are not sufficient to give an answer to a new problem, or to whom it was not possible to give a satisfactory solution.
Research prepared for the Eurasian Economic Commission by the experts of the Skolkovo-Higher School of Economics International Laboratory for Law and Development (LLD.hse.ru). The report is dedicated to analysis of rights exhaustion regimes in different countries in context of WTO regulations. This topic is particularly important for Russia because of the ongoing discussion on parallel imports.
PPT Verdict against the Big Six Agrochemical Companies: Syngenta, Bayer, Mons...Save Dolphins
The final PPT Verdict against the Big Six Agrochemical Companies: Syngenta, Bayer, Monsanto, Dow, Dupont, and BASF is now available... PAN International organised a historic session of the Permanent People’s Tribunal in Bangalore on December 3-6, 2012, attended by hundreds of peasant farmers, agricultural workers, and activists. Witnesses from all over the world gave testimony on the human rights violations perpetrated by the agrochemical transnational corporations (TNCs). Below is a brief summary of the Tribunal’s Findings and Recommendations.
Tribunal Findings:
The six TNCs are responsible for gross, widespread and systematic violations of the right to health and life, economic, social and cultural rights, as well as of civil and political rights, and women and children’s rights.
The United States, Switzerland, and Germany (Home States), have demonstrably failed to comply with their internationally accepted responsibility to promote and protect human rights, especially of vulnerable populations. These three States, where the six corporations are registered and headquartered, have failed to adequately regulate, monitor and discipline these entities by national laws and policy; have unjustifiably promoted a double standard approach prohibiting the production of hazardous chemicals at home while allowing their own TNCs unrestrained license for these enterprises in other States, especially of the Global South.
Technology-importing (Host) states are responsible for not adequately protecting human rights and social movement activists from vexation and harassment; not adequately protecting independent scientists; not fully pursuing alternatives and less hazardous forms of agricultural production; and not honouring obligations from the ILO Conventions.
Some of the policies of the WHO, FAO and ILO are not fully responsive to the urgency of regulation and redress, as articulated by suffering peoples, and human rights and social movement activist groups and associations. A more proactive role is especially indicated in the field of hazardous agrochemicals and agribusiness TNCs. UNESCO ought to take expeditious and effective steps for the protection of academic and scientific freedom of researchers and specialists who raise justifiable alarm over the long term impact of pesticides.

PROFILE
I’ve always been into technical issues, focusing on scientific aspects of environmental law
and food law. I have broad experience in: environmental law, remediation –cases, energy
industries, alternative energy – sources, wastes and reclaim issues. Lately, given my
passion for food and wine issues I started a research on wine law and food after having
spent a period in France, University of Reims. It means that I’m also into IP law. I acquired
my experience and skills both in legal and in engineering firms, managing every aspect of
the environmental case. I spent a lot of time with technical parties on conceiving projects
and finding altogether legal and technical solutions.
My own background and strong interests in other law branches and cultural issues,
together with a command of three European languages and the comprehension of other
two, have also led me to explore new boundaries in my specialty such as alternative
energy sources and, for instance, new forms of bio remediation, not forgetting different
issues such as sports law (doping issues) and food law (in particular OGM, food frauds
and wine trading law) with health-related topics. I’m confident in handling negotiations
which require a wide range of skills. All these features have made me a peculiar
professional, which I’m proud to be.
