Due to the Syrian crisis in my country, I wanted to help my people in any possible way by joining a
voluntary job with an INGO organization which is called GVC (Group of Civil Volunteers- Italy).
During my job with GVC, I was following up the duty of Logistic in addition to Procurement activities
(purchasing, vendor research, etc.) in the WASH project named "Increase the provision of life-saving
emergency protection and assistance and support the delivery of essential services for affected people
in Syria" supported from OCHA and was accomplished by international tender.
In addition to my duty in their Education project for rehabilitation of four schools in Aleppo city, and
providing them with prefabricated classrooms.
Starmix company-Syria ( May/2007- November / 22 -2014).
Starmix is manufacturer of electrical appliance product range over than 85 different appliance in 9 categories: Dry vacuum cleaners & wet vacuum
cleaners, fruit juicers, meat grander and universal kitchen machines blenders steam irons fans and electrical heaters etc.
Designation: Maintenance Department Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising the Main workshop labor in Damascus.
2. Follow up the technical problems for all electrical appliance to get the bestmaintenance
solutions which can help the laborers as well as costumers ,like a preparing theelectrical
motors and synchronous motors to be adapted for appliance or devices.
3. Performing modification for the electronics circuits to be adapted for old andunavailable
electrical appliances.
4. Follow up Maintenance process in all Centers and workshops in other Syrian regions (52centers).
5. Supplying all centers by required spareparts.
6. Submit and authenticate the monthly invoices for sold spare parts.
7. Submit regulating reports to high administration about work progress.
