1996 – 2013 Director and Conductor of the ‘Charlemagne Orchestra for Europe’
Founded, developed and managed this symphony orchestra without any public subsidies for
over 17 years with musicians from 27 countries covering the classical and romantic repertoires,
as well as key contemporary works.

music and chamber music, which led to my appointment as a professional violinist.
Qualifications from the Brabant Conservatoire (Katholieke Leergangen Hogeschool, the Netherlands).
Orchestra Conductor studies at the Antwerp Conservatoire, the ‘Pierre Monteux School for Advanced
Conductors’ and the Tanglewood Music Center for the Arts (USA). Conducting teachers: Charles Brück,
Enrique Diemecke, Seiji Ozawa, Jorma Panual and under the personal tutoring of Lorin Maazel.
