Raw Material Service Manager
Duties
- Manage , Monitor, Control, follow-up, update, and propose to Superiors the sourcing/
supplying process for Raw Materials Including:
• Research for new sources of raw material for cement and clinker production,
• identify new areas with site visit making preliminary samples collection for chemical
analysis and plotting the new areas for study on a geological map,
• Drilling campaign to evaluate the dimension of the material to assur the Reserve
Qualitative and Quantitative .
• Make the necessary visibility study for the Expected Exploitation and Exploration
cost .
• license process via the governmental authorities and/or the armed forces and
plotting the exploitation action plane yearly and monthly .
o Manage ,Monitor, Control, follow-up periodical renewal of official approvals for the
exploitation of the Company's Quarries - approval of the armed forces periodically -
dealing the contracts, preparing and sending all the required documents (maps and
others) for the authorities in order to keep the company away from any legal
problems .
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, follow-up Continuous contact with Official Authorities, including
the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Agriculture, Monuments Corporation, Alexandria
Governorate, Matrouh Governorate, Military Intelligence and local councils…etc as well as
prepare required reports about quantity of raw material received, respective fees and rents of
the Quarries.
- Manage ,Monitor, follow-up, & Control the extracted Quantities and Quality form the
company Quarries and select the Best Extraction Method according to the Contracts with the
Governmental Authority or the Armed forces within the rules and regulations .
- Manage & coordinate stocks control of the raw materials pile inside the plant .
- Manage ,Monitor, follow-up the daily sampling g of raw materials to be send to the
laboratory, in order to analyze the respective quality results, as well as ensure the preparation
of a mixture for the raw material, during the extraction, to get a suitable composition for the
cement manufacturing.
- Plan, update, propose to Department Manager the maintenance plans and updated schedules
and activities for stoppage and repair work concerning Service operations, follow-up
coordination's with all related industrial managers
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, follow-up, update, define and propose to Department Manager
direct subordinates inputs related to Service budget, annual service plan, operational
objectives (i.e. quantities, needs, cost, etc.) analyzing capacities, development and identifying
the "shunting lines" which allow the definition and implementation of corrective measures
when needed..
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, and follow-up all Service applied and expected policies and
procedures in line with current strategies and objectives approved by superiors and aligned
with Corporate strategies and visions as well .
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, and follow-up contractors / service providers inside assigned
production area (long or short Time) and make the monthly analyses and according contract
agreements, as well as define and follow up the weekly meeting with them.
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, and follow-up all the activities of three Crushers operation inside
the plant ensuring the Reliability , performance , Raw materials percentage , Materials
consumptions , the improvement plan , weekly and monthly maintenance plane , investment

2. plane to produce the Raw feed and the Raw additives required for the Raw Mills , Kilns and
Cement mills .
- Manage and Monitor the operation of the crusher online analyzer regarding its performance ,
maintenance , calibration and necessary upgrading with the Manufacturer , the time of
replacing the radioactive sources and the overhaul efficiency of the equipment .
- Manage and coordinate human resources under my command, proposing to the Manager
Department any forecast and operational needs to the direct in the fields of development,
training, performance assessment, recruitment and careers.
- Study and make root cause analysis for all the chronic and repeated problems that affect the
reliability of the installations, and define remarks, recommendation or modifications if needed
in coordination of the reliability team.
- Ensure that the Quality, Safety and Environment system are followed through conducting
safety awareness sessions to subordinates and contractors on regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with Company's Attitudes, sharing and promoting each Attitude's behavior
as standard action
- Translate the objectives of the management into operational objectives ensuring that they are
carried out.
- Manage ,Monitor, Control, and follow-up coast reduction program in all raw material area.
- Manage Raw Materials Operational Committee regarding Safety and Installation Reliability
and Apply 5S program
