Enrolled nurse
 I assist in a wide variety of areas to include Outpatients, Medical Wards, Orthopaedic
Ward, 0-12-month ward (Rose),Post - operative Surgical care, Adolescent Ward and
Accident and Emergency Services.
 I consistently provide evidence based patient care in accordance with organizational
policies and guidelines with the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
 I assist in providing high quality care to General and Acute medical patients, Palliative
Care and Surgical patients.
 Duties include maintaining and caring for Intravenous pumps; Optiflow Circuits; External
Ventricular drains; Catheters; Peripheral Inserted Central Catheters; Intravenous sites;
Tracheostomies; Nasopharyngeal devices; and Plaster care.
 I assist with the management of feedingissues, for example breast feeding,bottle
feeding,nasogastric and gastrostomy tube feeding.
 Liaise closely with medical professionals regarding patient care
 Assist with the pre-admission, admission, recovery and discharge of patients
