I have over 26 years of experience in the offshore oil gas industry. Fabrication,
Installation, Construction, Safety Awareness, with a hands-on attitude. Safety is a
paramount from the work site too management level. As a Deck Foreman I conduct
Toolbox Talks before work starts and explain the correct procedures and methods
required for the tasks in hand. I and the riggers will visually inspect all rigging
equipment before use and after use. Communication with the work force and
management work hand in hand. I have worked on several projects overseas and the
clients and management have been verysupportive of my work methods and
supervision. Having worked and supervised on several projects offshore in the role of
Deck Foreman I have worked and supervised al heavy lifts, Pipe lay Construction

lifting of compensation buoys of 90t.
- Also issuing work instructions to construction crew.
- Co-ordination of construction activities throughout the vessels and ensuring
the Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and
constructions status.
- It’s imperative to liaise with the deck engineer to ensure preventative
maintenance and construction activities are executed and to instruct Rigger
Foremen & Riggers the correct lifting practices.
- Tool box talks and safety awareness on work site everyday.
- To be present at all heavylifts and load outs at job site.
Duties Deck-Foreman. Client-Ambridge Big Foot Project. New Orleans
- To instruct Riggers & Pipe Fitters, Platters, Welders, Scaffolders the daily work
in the construction, fabrication, installation and safety awareness on the work
site.
