Ddeck Coordinator
Coordinating all cargo operations for the Clair Ridge hook up just off of the Shetland coast, ensuring all operations
run smoothly and efficiently. Liaising withall disciplines to prioritise cargo operations from the boat, then liaising
withmaterials to ensure all cargo is scanned into the track and trace system and only then I organise delivery to the
work sites. We have the use of two boats, the floatel victory accommodation barge and the Clair Ridge hook up
itself. All decks have to be kept 100% accurate ensuring no mistakes are made. Also responsible for all backload,
sea fastening, dangerous goods and labels if required. Also liaise withthe platform material controller ensuring all
backload is 100% correct at all times. We have a deck foreman who is directly responsible to me and a deck crew
of six personnel who are given priority lifts on a daily basis at the toolbox talk to ensure all cargo is delivered
professionally and on time.

Deck Team Leader
Team Leader of a team of 6 deck crew responsible for all boat, cargo and deck operations on board a busy
platform in the Forties Field for Apache Northsea where we had no accidents or accidents in all of my time spent
withthe team.in charge of all helicopter and emergency response operations as the HLO and emergency response
Team Leader where i had to ensure my team were fully competent and trained to an acceptable standard in fire
fighting operations on board the platform.
our achievements were to bring a non compliant installation up to the best in the field on compliance to fire fighting
systems, adherence to company policies and general deck operations.
We did this by complying withcompany policies ensuring work and safe systems were set up managed and were
kept at a highstandard by actually doing the work we were asked to do and not cut any corners or tick any boxes
whichthe previous team had done.
this was done by building a good team and rewarding good work.
Also in this role i was the Platform Material Controller creating manifests and ordering cargo for work carried out
on board the platform
