WORK HISTORY Trainee telecommunication technician
1990 – 1991 at RTS( now Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation)
I maintained audio visual equipments and set up studio equipment for news. I also had an opportunity
to set up equipments for the Outside Broadcasting studio ( OB van).
1995 – to date Secondary School Instructor
I had opportunities to work at four different state schools. Each school I worked was an insightful
experience.
POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY
2004 – 2006 Emergency Brigade Coordinator( Be Lonie Secondary School)
I was responsible for training school staff members and students to evacuate the school premise in case
of emergencies. I did also organize a drill where I got the police, the Red Cross and the Fire and Rescue
Agency involved.
2004 – 2006 SIT member ( School Implementation Team) Be Lonie Secondary school.
My duty was to ensure that the school plan of actions is kept by the book and helped the school
management to assist teachers.
2. 2005 National Curriculum member.
I was involved in drafting the Technology & Enterprise curriculum to be used in all state secondary
schools.
2005 – 2007 National Curriculum Team Member.
My duty was to organized workshop for teachers and helps them to familiarize themselves with the new
curriculum ( Technology & Enterprise). I was allocated one school ( Beau Vallon) where I was to work
with the teachers and guide them in using the curriculum.
2007 – 2009 Emergency Brigade Coordinator - English River Secondary school.
My experience from the previous schools enforced that the drills carried out were more effective.
2010 House Captain for one of the School House – Pointe Larue Secondary school.
My duty was to monitor the sports activities, student behavior and motivate students to uplifts the
house`s image.
