The Curriculum Council is a body that sets policy and procedures for curriculum development and implementation. It strives for continuity and equity across the curriculum. The Council ensures curriculum changes are made collaboratively through increased communication. It is comprised of administrators, teachers, and board members who meet regularly to review proposals and ensure alignment of curriculum. Teachers can get involved by joining workgroups that guide curriculum review and updates in various subject areas.

9. Elementary Math Curriculum Workgroup (2007–2008) The Everyday Mathematics Alignment Committee (EDMAC), comprised of building and grade-level representatives, was convened in the 2006-2007 school year to analyze the current Everyday Mathematics textbook series in relation to the GLCEs (grades 1-5) to make recommendations for curriculum changes. As a result, EDMAC developed curriculum-pacing guides, math fact standards, supplemental materials, and formative assessments - learning paths in Compass Learning Odyssey to support mathematics teaching and learning in classrooms.
