Confirmed that CTM System satisfies EU Procurement Directives’ requirements: EU-Supply’s CTM System complies with EU Directive 2004/18/EC for the award of Public Works, Supply and Service Contracts, that apply from 31 January 2006 and supports Dynamic Purchasing Systems and e-Auctions. EU-Supply’s CTM software also fulfils the requirements of Directive 42,2 “Communications”, amongst others, which requires that the means of communication for Dynamic Purchasing Systems is solely electronic, is generally available and does not restrict access to the Tendering Procedure. 2004/17/EC consolidates previous Directives for entities operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and Postal Services Sectors. This directive includes similar amendments to those detailed in 2004/18/EC, and also apply from 31 January 2006. EU-Supply’s CTM System meets increasing Public Sector requirements for objectivity as well as an electronic platform that enhances communications and the exchange of information between parties. This is done in a highly structured and controlled manner and maintains the essential protocols and discipline required by OJEU. The Directives also encourage Contracting Authorities to use OJEU for Contract Values under the defined thresholds which means that more tenders should be let via OJEU placing more administrative and technical demands on Contracting Authorities who would benefit from adopting EU-Supply’s CTM system
