incurs all its expenses through activities done through HINDUSTAN UNILEVER
FOUNDATION(HUF), which is a not-for-profit subsidiary company.

using a toilet for defecation and adopting safe drinking water practices.
 Happy Homes: Ankur and Asha Daan
- Asha Daan : To set up Homes and Hostels for women, orphans and
differently abled children in Mumbai.
- Ankur: Provides education to differently abled children at DoomDooma in
Assam.

Suggestions/Recommendations-
• HUL can provide books and necessary stationaries to orphans.
• It can consider expanding its projects like Domex Toilet Academy (DTA in AP) ,
Ankur(Assam), Asha Daan (Mumbai) to other states.
Comments-
• Continuation of ASHA DAAN since 1976 is a commendable achievement of HUL.
• Contribution in many welfare activities like FAL Foundation, Rin Career Ready
Academy.
