MTS ("Mobile TeleSystems") is the largest mobile
operator in Russia and CIS. Products of the
company are cellular network, local telephone
service, broadband, mobile television, cable
television, satellite television, digital television.
The company operates in Belarus since 2002.

constantly developing their CSR strategy
• In 2016 MTS won a gold medal as a ‘Socially
responsible brand’ at the ‘Brand of the year’
contest.
• MTS wan a gold medalist at the Best inCSR-
2016 contest, it was announced the ‘Telecom
Leader of Social Responsibility in Belarus’.
• MTS has received the 3rd place for making ‘The
best case in Belarus’ called ‘Children on the
Internet’.
• The Ministry of culture declared MTS a
‘Maecenas (меценат) of culture in Belarus -

6. Projects «The Web knows no age», «Tablet
from the ground»
In 2013 MTS paid attention on the fact that
60% of elderly people had extremely low
and shallow knowledge of modern
technologies. This was the precedent to
opening an educational project and teach
them using computers and the Internet.
The classes were held in 12 belarusian
cities, and by 2016 more than 50 000
people had received computer literacy
certificate.
MTS has launched such Belarusian MTS
also encourages children and younger
people to help educate the elderly

7. Project «School ‘Renaissance’»

refusals of patients' relatives from
participating in donor programs

9. ‘Children on the Internet’ has expanded. This initiative is aimed teaching children to use
technologies and the Internet. Plus, it is of great importance to make this process safe. By
now, there are more than 5000 children have participated in this initiative.

sports lessons.
