He is currently a senior at Coastal Carolina University, where he is majoring in Recreation and Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. He has a close relationship with his parents, Tom and Liz, and older sister Lauren, who recently graduated from medical school. Wells enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and exploring in the mountains. He also likes jet skiing, wakeboarding, and cooking. Wells is an avid sports fan of the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, and Atlanta Braves. He has been a member of Coastal Carolina's track team for the past four years.
