Jirnerly Tatiana Parra Salgado was born on February 9, 1991 in Ibague-Tolima, Colombia. She is the first of three brothers and shared most of her life learning from them. She had excellent behavior in primary school at LICEO FEDERICO OZNAM and completed secondary studies at GERMAN PARDO GARCIA in 2007. She then studied systems technician and graphic design, graduating with good grades. Currently, she is studying to be a Document Management Technologist at Sena Regional-Tolima where she is acquiring knowledge and learning skills for her future career.

Brayan is currently studying accounting and finance and in a relationship with Andrea Guarin from Pereira.

Children with injury to the central nervous system (CNS) exhibit a variety of language disorders
that have been described by members of different disciplines, in different journals, using different
descriptors and taxonomies. This paper is an overview of language deficits in children with CNS
injury, whether congenital or acquired after a period of normal development. It first reviews the
principal CNS conditions associated with language disorders in childhood. It then describes a
functional taxonomy of language, with examples of the phenomenology and neurobiology of
clinical deficits in children with CNS insults. Finally, it attempts to situate language in the broader
realm of cognition and in current theoretical accounts of embodied cognition.

Cynthia Estebo completed her kindergarten teaching practicum at the "José Manuel Estrada" school in Punta Alta, Argentina from April to May 2015. She taught English to a group of 27 4-year-old students. Estebo applied communicative language teaching approaches and used various hands-on materials like songs, games, and crafts. While classroom management was initially challenging, over the course of the practicum Estebo improved her skills with guidance from cooperating teachers. Estebo found the experience rewarding and felt the students enjoyed and benefited from her lessons. , I am the baby of a family of three, I have 2 older brothers. I am the mother of 2 wonderful children (don’t we all say that about our children), and the owner of 2 amazing dogs and band new puppies (9). We live in a small town called Saint Paul’s in North Carolina. It is definitely a country town with country stores, corn fields, cow pastures, and deer running across your yard type of town. It is enjoyable because my dogs can run freely; we can ride four wheelers, and have huge family gatherings without bothering our neighbors.
My education began right out of college; I attended a four year university Winston Salem State University. In the midst of college my mother became very ill and she was keeping my son during the time. I did drop out of school after a total of 3years to take care of her and my son. No regrets, I feel now I have more discipline, a little scared, but determined to finish what I started.
I am currently employed at Mann Hummel Purolator Filters in Fayetteville, NC. This is a filter company and we supply filters to some of the largest automobile companies worldwide. I worked in the Data Key Entry for about 1 ½ years, then moved to Traffic Department for 2 years, then worked as office support for 2 ½ years and then Customer Service department for 5years, and now I am working in the Packaging Department. It is great to see a different side of the business, I began working with the end result and now I have transitioned to the start of the process.
From this course my learning objectives are a deeper understanding of teaching methods, of the curriculum, the student, and diverse students. Also the methods of a great instructional plan for all involved. English language learners I will say are similar to what I am comfortable with. My native tongue is English, but to teach it to diverse learners may be difficult, but being a teacher is about facing the difficult and conquering. As an educator we must learn to teach diverse students, due to the diverse world we live in. There is nowhere we can go and not have to teach to one set standard of children. They all learn different, come from different backgrounds etc., therefore some form of diversity some differences great and some small.
As for my future a part of me would love to get back into the classroom, although so much is going on in North Carolina regarding teachers, teacher’s pay, classroom structure etc. I still feel good teache ...

My name is Jacqueline Rodriguez and I am 34 years old. I live in North Carolina with my four children Isabella, Noel, Novalee and Max. I am a mom of twins (boy and girl) Noel and Novalee. My kids range in age from 9 to 6 years old. Currently I am a 6th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher going on my third year of teaching next school year. Previously I taught Kindergarten and that was a big leap from kindergarten to middle school. Since having some experience in the classroom I feel that assessments are so important in so many aspects. Assessments help teachers plan lessons and differentiate instruction for our students. It also allows us to use the data from assessments to see student growth and where we as teachers can improve our lessons. This leads me to the learning outcome that most intrigues me (Design learner-centered instruction aligned with Common Core State Standards, digital age standards (NETS-S), and 21st Century skills to promote learner achievement and growth). I want my classroom to be a place where students are learning in an innovative and 21st century based learning environment and using their skills to further their knowledge on the content being taught.
Currently I am working on my Masters in Education and have a BA is Psychology. I have always had a love for teaching and decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Education. This will be my fourth course and I am so excited to continue learning more. A fun fact about myself is that I am also an International Bestselling Published Author and have written five titles so far with more on the way. I also enjoy baking so much that I often times bake WAY too much! In teaching this course, I hope Dr. Adkins does provide a great deal of constructive criticism and feed back to help me grow and further my knowledge as an educator.
