Olga Cecilia Perez Tejada was born in 1968 in Jardin, Colombia. She has two sons, Jose Miguel and Juan Andres, and works as an administrative assistant for the municipal government. She is currently studying social work at the University of Antioquia Southwest campus. Her family includes nine siblings, five sisters and four brothers, most of whom still live in Colombia.
