Despite our intentions to ensure that all our conference participants learn and network successfully, we seem to be working harder than ever at accomplishing less. And our attendees seem to be more disengaged than ever and longing for more. At any given time 50% or more of our conference attendees are not attending our programming.
In an effort to improve our conferences and help our attendees, we have pushed the existing conference model into hyperdrive, offering more and asking attendees to work at super speeds to consume as much as possible. Our richly-scheduled events—code for overly-scheduled—negatively affect attendees’ learning and quality networking in the long run.
We need to break free of infections myths about conference experiences, learning and networking to find ways to hardwire conferences to organically develop the natural intelligence of our attendees. What's Your Story? Creating Memorable General SessionsJeff Hurt
Conference attendees are collectors of experiences. You have the opportunity to design a conference narrative that uses narraphors: metaphors to tell a story. Your opening and closing general sessions need to help frame that narraphor with input and output frames. Then you can transform your conference attendees from story listeners to story tellers to story sharers and story people. So what's your conference story and narraphor?
Building Enterprise Products - For Moving Targets of Customer Needs and OutcomesMurali Erraguntala
Building new product is an exciting phase in the career of every Product Manager and each Product Manager would yearn for an opportunity to conceptualize, build and launch new products. The primary goal of every product manager is to ensure the commercial success of new product. Yet, only 50% of new products succeed [1]. New product development is definitely a challenge and Product Manager falters somewhere during the course of building new product. In order to provide some guidance to build new products, I decided to drop my experiences of building new product. The primary reason for drafting the guide is to streamline my experiences of building a new product and share actionable points as part of the guide. I have learned about Product Management by reading books, blogs, articles etc and primarily through my role as a Product Manager. Strengthening Our Strategic Thinking To Become Better LeadersJeff Hurt
Becoming a strategic thinker is not as difficult as it sounds. Although if we’re not careful, it may mean running in place twice as hard. It just means practicing different behaviors than what you probably already do.
When you focus on remembering minutia and details, it adversely affects your ability to engage in strategic thinking. We have to be careful as leaders and logistic meeting professionals of falling into the trap of losing sight of the bigger picture. Neuroscience has proven that when we focus and engage in strategic, abstract thinking, we improve our ability to remember the details. Becoming more strategic actually improves our logistics.
Being more strategic doesn’t mean making decisions that affect your whole company. Nor does it mean allocating scarce budget dollars. And it clearly doesn’t mean scouring the internet for the right response to the problem you face.
It means forcing your brain to slow down and work smarter.
Learning Outcomes:
Define a strategic brain and how it affects our leadership.
Identify three steps we need to practice to become strategic thinkers.
Discover how to improve the brain’s gatekeeper and increase our ROI!

Emotional maturity- How mature are you emotionallly?Babu Appat
We must be emotionally balanced. Life will have its own ups and downs. How clear yourself through these is what matters. We must be able to analyse and find reasons for failures and manage them successfully. You may weep or cry over incidents which you may not like to happen in life. Your ability to manage these kind of events in life and bounce back into active life depends on your emotional health.
1\ARCHITECTURE AND NATION BUILDING IN THE AGE OF GLOBALIZATION: CONSTRUCTION OF THE NATIONAL STADIUM OF BEIJING FOR THE 2008 OLYMPICS
This study examines the relationship between architecture and nation building in the age of globalization, with an analysis of the debates and controversies about the National Stadium, the main sports venue for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The article argues that nationalism, along with the cultural ideology of global consumerism, drives the production of flagship architectural projects in China. The dilemma between nationalism and global consumerism has led state politicians and bureaucrats to opt for a global architectural language to narrate national ambitions. The study reveals the rationale underlying the search for global architecture among political elites in China, as well as its mixed consequences for local cultural discourses and politics.

3\Good culture, bad culture...no culture! The implications of culture in urban regeneration in Bradford, UK
This paper shows how regeneration policies in Bradford (UK) have over the years been modified following local, national and international events since 1997. It will be argued that policy makers reacted to pub- lic perceptions of the city itself and of its large Muslim community in three phases: celebration of local minority ethnic culture; pathologi- zation of the same; exclusion of any cultural element from the city’s self-projection. The paper suggests that these changes are at the same time reflexive of historical events and hegemonic discourses, and likely to be constitutive (as they have the potential to deeply affect social relations in the city). Further investigation is required to measure such constitutive long-term effects on minority ethnic groups and social relations in the city.

Abstract This case study focuses on the efficiency of the existing organizational structure for a medium scale construction projects. The changes required for the betterment of the organization is highlighted and an improved organizational structure is proposed. The organizational structure of the project is studied and the project network is developed based on the activities of work carried out on the construction project. By using the Benningson’s Trend Modeling method, activity relationship matrix(ARM) and communication relationship Matrix (CRM) is constructed. The number of handovers between members is shown in ARM. The ARM is based on the successor activity and precedent activity of the project network. The efficiency of communication and coordination between the members of the project is determined in communication resistance matrix. The optimal organizational structure is determined by total resistance index which is calculated from total resistance matrix. This study is aimed to determine the efficiency of existing organizational structure through quantitative modeling and by making necessary changes in the structure for the betterment of the organization. Keywords: Construction, project network1, Trend modeling2, Activity Relationship3, Communication resistance4, Total resistance index5, efficiency6, task allocation7 and Optimal Organizational Structure8 etc…

Organizations are good at talking about and choosing change but equally important are the plans we develop bring others along with the change. Wise leaders are turning to neuroscience and cognitive psychology to break through our natural "guardians of change." One helpful tool could be what's called the ACE plan, a three-step approach to make transition management stick. In addition, you'll learn why our brains resist change and how to design strategies that make our thinking caps more receptive. Take back a fresh strategy that invites and empowers other to be positively part of the change process.

Competitive intelligence and the emergence of quants impacting the company di...Ray Garcia
Competitive intelligence is an important aspect of how large corporations compete within an industry. It is also at the source of new innovations that have some intentional research and development targeted to capture market share or maintain market leadership. It is a technique that may be part of an existing role, but it is best implemented as a high-level executive division of the company that focuses specifically on competitive intelligence. It is to often split between the marketing and legal departments and lacks the participation of the R&D team. As competition is increasingly global competitive intelligence is much harder to do but even more important since the threats can remain undetected and suddenly appear in the companies prime markets and not leaving any time for a response.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder
