This document outlines the syllabus for a 3 credit course on critical issues in management. The course consists of 48 hours of lectures and 144 hours of assignments. Students will be evaluated based on quizzes at the end of each chapter, which make up 45% of the grade, two mini reports worth 30% total, and a final report and presentation worth 25%. The course covers 9 chapters on topics like perspectives in management, planning and organizing, change management, quality management, cultural sensitivity, social responsibility, knowledge management, conflict management, and globalization.
