appear vulnerable and weak and
the parents looking over them,
shows protection and control
This shot of the parents playing is
showing that they are young
parents that are excited to be
making a family and are
optimistic about the future.
This long shot of a shark type fish
lurking in the dark part of the sea
makes us fear for all the character
that we have seen, the colour change
in this shot also shows danger
because its dark and gloomy

4. This shot showing the size difference
increases our concern for the
characters, because if the shark was to
attack we know they would stand a
chance
As the mother ruches to her eggs the
father tries to stop the shark attacking
and we get a close up of the sharks
teeth this segment is fast to mirror the
movement of the shark
After the sharks fast movement the
father is knocked out by the tale fin of
the shark this then cuts to black to show
that he is no longer conscience and we
as viewers are worried for him and is
family

5. When the father fish finally wakes up it is night to so this shows that it time has passed.
After he realizes that everything he loved has gone he sees a egg that was harmed in the
attack and he promises to never net anyone hurt him again. This scene makes us as
viewers assume that the film is going to be about the relationship between dad and son.
