Grading Discussions 20/80 Approach 20% • Identify 20% of the students with the lowest scores or ineffective responses • Only enter comments for these students. 80% • Create a generic response message for the remaining 80% of students • Paste this response into their grading comments Rationale: • You are investing your time/energy where you will be most effective. • Sometimes, timely feedback is more key than the quantity of the feedback.
