This document is a collaboration agreement between Cassie Coyne and Jordan Nixon to create a motion graphic titled "E6 Motion Graphic". The agreement lists the basic terms including the names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of the two collaborators. It describes that they will collaborate to create the specified motion graphic. The contractual provisions are attached and all collaborators must sign and return the provisions, which are an integral part of the agreement. Cassie Coyne has signed and dated the agreement.
3D animation involves modeling objects in three dimensions using computer software. This allows objects to be manipulated and viewed from any angle, and integrated with live video. Lighting and textures can be used to make 3D objects appear solid and realistic. Adding a third dimension opens new possibilities for animation by making cartoons less flat.
Motion graphics use video, animation, and audio to create the illusion of motion, usually for multimedia projects. Elements are animated using techniques like keyframing, behaviors, or scripts to change properties over time. Motion graphics originated with video editing and were initially expensive, but have become more accessible with computer technology.
The document lists various tasks completed on different dates related to a radio station project, including researching other stations, scanning storyboards, finalizing a storyboard, uploading animations and logos, collaborating with others, pooling ideas, and creating a final storyboard and masked flipbook.

Elderly assault is a proposed game where players control elderly characters like a wheelchair-bound veteran or a woman throwing pudding to stop waves of children from reaching a retirement home. The goal is to defend the lawn until all children are stopped. Fast food frenzy tasks players with swatting flying food items like burgers and fries back to a grill to keep their job and earn a higher pay, while avoiding swatting non-food objects that would cost money if added to the mix.

The hypodermic needle theory from the early 1920s suggests that mass media can easily influence a large audience without challenge. It views the audience as passive receivers of messages directly injected into their minds by media producers, immediately affecting behavior. It does not account for individual differences in how people analyze and respond to media messages.
Quantitative research uses structured surveys and questionnaires to collect statistical data from large, representative samples to guide business decisions. It seeks factual answers through closed questions. Qualitative research analyzes unstructured data like interviews and open-ended responses to understand people's attitudes, behaviors, and motivations. It does not rely on numbers but seeks to explain the "why". Audience profiling finds details about a target market, like demographics, interests, and habits, to effectively communicate messages to the right people.

Assignment title CREATING A SAMPLE LIBRARY
The purpose of this assignment is to:
Develop your ability to analyse and discuss the use of sound and music in computer games.
Use field recording and computer audio synthesis to create a sound sample library for use in computer games.
Scenario
Sound is an essential part of the computer game experience. Forming 50% of our sensory experience, and good game soundtrack
can enhance our pleasure of a computer game and help bridge the ever decreasing gap between games and more traditional
forms of storytelling such as films.
Reverb Studios specialise in soundtrack production for computer games and are seeking to add to their already comprehensive
sound libraries. Reverb Studios sound libraries have been used to soundtrack a large variety of games produced over the last
decade, most recently Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
You are tasked with producing individual sound samples and short musical compositions for games of the following genre:
Action
Science Fiction
Retro/Classic
Fantasy
Puzzle
It is expected that you will produce sound samples through a combination of computer VST generated audio and live sound
recordings that have been manipulated and altered through VST effects.
All samples that you produce will be uploaded to a centrally stored sample library and must be labelled according to producer
initials and game genre.
In addition to producing your samples and musical compositions, you must provide analysis of how sound design enhances
computer games. For this, you will need to provide audio visual examples that should be embedded in your Unit 73 blog and
accompanied with word processed OR voice recorded analysis. This analysis should comment on:
1. How you think the sound in your chosen example has been produced (production techniques)
2. What post-production techniques have been used to create the soundtrack (using subject specific terminology)
3. How the sound design of your chosen examples might enhance the gaming experience for audiences
Good Luck!
