The CRC for Rail Innovation is a collaborative venture between the rail industry and several Australian universities with a mission to be Australia's leading rail research provider. It has a $100 million, 7-year program involving 30 participant companies, 7 universities, and over 500 researchers and industry personnel working on over 100 research projects focused on climate change, performance, safety, smart technology, urban rail access, and workforce development. The CRC provides access to research reports and a network to help transform rail into a more climate-friendly, productive, efficient and safer system.
