• Once you decided that you want to do Certified Public Accountant from United state
of America. The procedure for this is below :-
1. Now you have to decide from which state you want to go with your CPA exam.
-There are 50 state in USA. Each state has different-2 procedure as well as fees.
CPA exam cost includes: (a rough estimate)
a. Initial Fees:- $100 - $400
b. Registration fees:- $20 - $150
c. Examination fees :- $208 per section
d. Tuition fees:- $2000-$5000
5. • Initial exam fees required for first time. If you are an international student, you have to
pay credential evaluation fees as well. It is part of CPA exam for international students
to get your transcripts evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation agency. The price
of this service can range from $100 – $300 depending on the agency and how they
package their offerings. This is generally required for your background check.
• You can select these agencies from state website or from NASBA (The National
Association of State Boards of Accountancy)
• Most of the state board charges a registration fee when you schedule an exam. This
fee ranges from $20 – $150 and is commonly around $75. Some state also required
residency status of USA.
• Exam fees is set by NASBA of $208.40 for each section of CPA exam. (its is increasing
continuously . If you pass all four sections on the first try, you will spend $833.60 on
NASBA CPA Examination fees. These fees are non-refundable, so only schedule your
exams when you’re ready to sit for them.
6. • Some state boards will charge the CPA Examination fee along with the application fee
when you apply to take the CPA Exam. Other states require you to pay the examination
fee directly to NASBA. In this case, NASBA will send you a payment coupon after your
state board has specified which sections you are eligible to test for.
• The CPA Examination fee covers the basic costs of administering the exam.
• If you retake sections of the CPA Exam, you will have to pay the registration and
examination fees each time.
• Tuition fees vary according to the tutor. You can find many classes online or you can
study by yourself. This requires your effort, determination and concentration.
• If you will be traveling to take the CPA Exam, make sure to budget for things like
airplane tickets, bus tickets, taxis, hotel rooms, and meals. Transportation alone could
cost several hundred dollars.
7. IS THIS EXAM HELD ONLY IN USA?
• The US CPA exam generally held only in USA or Dubai. But there is a good news.
• Due to this pandemic corona virus COVID-19, NASBA decided to schedule exams in
other countries as well, which are :-

c. Lebanon Kuwait
d. UAE
e. Brazil
f. England
g. Scotland
h. Ireland
i. Germany
j. India*
*Indian candidates may schedule to take any U.S. CPA Exam section during the months of June and September 2020 only.
