This document presents a high-tech agri-business project to grow renewable energy crops and harvest methane in Eastern Europe. It analyzes the cultivation of switchgrass and miscanthus, which can yield up to 15 and 26 tons per acre, respectively. The project would have several stages and seek grants. It compares the energy output of biomass crops to coal and solar energy. The proposal is to cultivate energy crops in suitable countries like Bulgaria and harvest the methane from the crops to use as an energy source.
