Hey guys!
For the people who have seen the poster and wonder what I actually want to do, here is the answer! It is a short powerpoint presentation (Not even 2 minutes) that explains a whole lot. Please contact me if you have any more questions!
For the people who have not seen my poster (yet), please still take a look at it. It is about an idea to improve our system, but I need your help for that! The idea is simple and it won't take long to read.
Please share the idea (and the post if you want to), because it really is something that needs to be under the attention of as much students as possible to work out.
Kind regards,
Chris
2. Who am I to do this?
• I’m a 4th semester student, science major,
living in Bagijnhof, who needs your help to
improve our school system.
• My main motivation for this, is to give the
students the best education and service they
can possibly get, and I do think I am capable of
performing well at this as your AAC chair.
• Having said that, I assume you are not looking
for idle chatter here, so click on to read about
what is on the schedule for change.
3. The idea
• Imagine an online platform; you give in your
semester, major and minor.
• You then have the option to choose what
courses you want to do in a list.
• After all (or a lot of) students have done this,
we inform you of how your plans are working
out.
• You can change your courses till you’re
satisfied.
4. The first thing
• So the first thing you should obviously do is
select your courses.
• It would closely resemble the Course Clash
Checker on the Erodios website.
http://erodios.nl/ccc.php
5. Your current semester: 2
Major track 1: Political Science
Major track 2: Computer Science
Major track 3: Economics
Minor: Rhetorics
Exchange Planned in Semester: 4
The courses
you are
taking
Your input, this
determines
your chance of
getting in
6. • Then we show you the courses you chose,
combined with the chance of getting in.
• You will be given the choice to either change
courses, or leave it the way it is.
• Your chance of getting in depends on whether
the course is part of your major/minor and if
you will be able to do this course in a different
semester. (These are also part of the criteria
used by the Senior Tutor.)

Do you want to change anything?
If yes, choose what courses you want to change.
If not, please confirm your choice for now.
You
would be
able to
take this
course
another
time
Although the
course is almost
oversubscribed,
are you likely to
get in, since it is
part of your major.
8. What happens next?
• The previous process is repeated a couple of
times to give you the chance to change
courses, or until nothing changes anymore.
• Meanwhile, we also ask you to fill in the
courses you are planning to do in the
semesters afterwards.
• You do not need to be sure about taking these
courses, but it tells us about your plans.

Expectation
You will get the results of
your choices back the same
way as for the other
semester (as in the previous
figure), but now also with
suggestions on how you can
possibly adapt your course
planning to avoid courses
clashing etc..
10. Why?
• You can already see if your planning is going to
work out, plus switch courses to semesters
where taking the course gives no problems.
• School can adapt its planning to whatever
courses are more or not wanted.
• Course clash problems like the ones on
Facebook nowadays can be solved
beforehand, which saves you a lot of stress.
• Etc.
11. Conclusion
• The system in the hands of the AAC would
change a lot, but all in favor of our students.
• School will allow try-outs and changes, but to
make it work, we will need a big amount of
students who support it.
• To support it, please vote for this idea (and
me!) on the GA and give me the opportunity
to improve our own school system.

suggestions, just in
